NT On Access Scanner fault message

My computer continually freezes up. WHen it thaws I get
an error message regarding NT On Access Scanner service.

The error signature is: SZ app Name SZAppVer 0.0.0.0
SZModName: Kernel32.dll
SZModVer 5.1.2600 1106
Offset 00013887

Any ideas? Help Please

NT On Access Scanner service is part of McAfee's software. please reinstall
it or contact McAfee.
