NT 4.0 and XP Connection Woes

I'm not sure that this is where this question belongs. If not, I apologize
and would appreciate any suggestions as to where I should repost.

When I first added my XP Home Addition notebook to my network with an NT 4.0
I was able to find the NT machine and connect to it, (after disabling the
Norton firewall). Now, I can no longer find it at all. I don't know what
changes were made that caused this. I've been through the XP network wizard
on the XP machine but it didn't help.

Any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated.
 
Are you trying to join an XP-Home to a NT4-server? Forget it, won't do.
Upgrade to XP-Pro.
