NSLOOKUP and socket <dg> failed

Meije Oppenhuizen

Ever since I installed an IEEE1394-card on my WinXP-box it
refuses to resolve hostnames.
I can ping any ip-adress however.

I have since removed the IEEE1394-card, but the problem
persists.
When I do 'nslookup -d2' I get the following errormessages:

socket (dg) failed: No error
SendRequest failed

*** Can't find server name for address 194.109.104.104: No
response from server

socket (dg) failed: No error
SendRequest failed

*** Can't find server name for address 194.109.6.66: No
response from server

*** Default servers are not available

Can someone tell me what these mean and how to correct it?

I'm getting rather annoyed here.

Many thanks!
