NPV with more than 30 periods

How do I do an NPV function if I have more than 30
periods? I have a 13.5 year period of monthly rents to do
NPV calcs for. I had simply done it by annual periods,
but the numbers would certainly be different if I were to
do it by monthly or quarterly, so how can I get an NPV of
163 periods?

Tony,

If all payments are for the same amount use PV function

If payments aren´t equal, put all payments in adjacent
cells (e.g. A1:A50000) and use the function:
=NPV(rate,A1:A50000)

Or better, create a name for the range (Insert>Name>Define)
and use function:
=NPV(rate,Rangename)

Regards,
Felipe
