/novalidate in the target line??

I got Supreme Commander but I cannot currently run it with my video card. I
have read the same complaint on several boards (I guess the programmers
changed it when they went from the beta to the final version) and several
people have said that they ran the game fine with the same card that I have
but had to use the "/novalidate" command in the target line of the shortcut.
I have tried to add /novalidate and _novalidate but I get the same error
message each time that it is not a valid command line. Can anyone give me
some easy to follow directions on how to edit the target line and use the
/novalidate command? Thanks.

Hi Blu,

Have you tried using -novalidate?

along with what jimmy wrote here earlier i would add that they may come out
with a patch for the game to deal with such issues as this on there site so
you should go back to the supremecommander site often to check if they have
any new patches or continent inline with the problem that your having.

also if you are still having problems with errors when trying to play after
doing what jimmy suggested you should call up the company there is usually a
toll-free number you can use to get ahold of there customer service reps and
get more information.
