Approximately 10 minutes after turning my computer on, I
receive the following message: The application failed to
initalize properly (Oxc0000135). Click on OK to
terminate the application. I click OK, and nothing seems
to happen that interrupts whatever I may be doing. At
times, I have not opened any programs and I still get
this message. Operating system: Windows XP
Professional. Office XP Pro installed. I have searched
and can not find an answer as to what is causing this
problem. Thank you!

Go to Start>Run and type "msconfig" without the quotes. Go to the
Startup tab and uncheck unnecessary programs. Look for the most likely
program connected with the NotifyAlert and uncheck. Run a scan using an
updated, current antivirus. Remove spyware with tools like Spybot S&D
and/or Ad-aware.
