Hello.
How can I clean up the list if the "past items" icons?
You can find it in Taskbar and Start Menu properties, customize inactive
icons.
I have a long list of them and most of those icons are wrong: I mean the
icons do not represent what's explained next to them.
My actual problem is that the battery icon is not showing up anymore in the
notification area and it's buried in the "past items" icons' list with a
folder icon next to it and not the blue battery as it should be.

the "past list" has nothing to do with your "current" problem.

waste of time trying to clear or figuring out how to. try 'clear list'
option. if that doesn't do it, i wouldn't waste anymore time on it.
