Nothing Listed on Running Processes

Windows\system32 always popped up when we signed on to
the user account, and I saw we had lots of .exe loaded
into the startup programs, so I manually blocked lots
of .exe that Microsoft anti-spy could not identify the
vendor in the startup, now I could not see anything
listed on the Running Processed, however, I could see
lots of .exe being blocked on the startup. Please help.

When I tried a while later again after logoff, the
running processes were listed now. However, I still have
windows\system32 screen popped up on some user name when
the desktop just come up.

I think this is a bug. It happened again, nothing shown
up on the running process even after I logged off and
logged back in again (all these under a different user).
