Notes has been changed to folder

I noticed that my notes is no longer a note folder. It is showing as a
regular folder and the properties show that it is for posts. I tried to
change the form back to note, but I receive an error message stating that
notes cannot be created in this folder. What happened and how do I get notes
back to being a notes folder?

With Outlook stopped, click Start>Run and put the following in the Open
field:

"%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\OfficeXX\Outlook.exe" /resetfolders

where "XX" reflects your version of Outlook: "10" for Outlook 2002 and "11"
for Outlook 2003. It might also be "9" or nothing (i.e., just "Office"),
depending on your version of Outlook, which you didn't consider important
enough to mention.
