Notes folder, not.

In a generic mailbox, controlled by IT staff, the Notes
folder Type has changed to contain Mail and Post Items.
The icon also changed to a "new folder" icon. I can make a
new Notes folder, but need to call it another name,
Notes1, as 'Notes' already exists. Can not rename nor
delete the bad Notes folder. I am the owner of generic
mailbox. Using Outlook 2002 & recently move to new
Exchange 2003 server. All was OK after move. Any
suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes! Thanks a bunch. This worked.
Do these switches apply to OL2003? I tried a search on MS
but no luck.
Someone else has got the same problem & says the switch
didn't help. Any suggestions?

Thanks again.

As far as I know, the switches listed for Outlook 2002 should also work for
2003...but I haven't tested them all. Hopefully they will write a new MSKB
article that is Outlook 2003-specific, or add Outlook 2003 to the list of
products that article #296192 applies to.
