Notes are "boldable" as typed Normal View, but not in Presenter Vi

I spent lots of time typing my notes and selectively bolding them. But when
I went to presenter view all the bold formating was removed! This sucks.

Can you help?

Yes, Richard, this sucks majorly.

The easiest solution I have found is not to use presenters view.

AFAIK Bill's answer is the only way as NIKe said (nearly) "Just Don't do it!"
You can still use multiple monitors without presenter view there are some
notes here and plenty of others if you google.
