Notepad is opening minimized

Notepad is opening in minimized mode.
How can I changed it so that it opens normally?

I've verified that the Shortcut is set to "Run" in "Normal window".

You might start by asking this in a Windows rather than a Word newsgroup.
Also, specify the version of Windows you are using when you do.
