Not Shutting down

W

Wes

Hi, My pc is still getting to the blue screen on shutdown
and hanging, no auto shutdown, no "Your computer is safe
to shutdown", nothing. I have to maually turn it off.
I did not have this problem until I had to reinstall
Windows 2000, and the SP's and hotfixes. I did not
reinstall all of them. I tried edit rhe registry keys -
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control from
the default of 20000 to 5000, and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager\MemoryManagement\ClearPageFileAtShutdown from 0 to
1 (0x1)as suggested in earleir posts with nor results.

Does anybody have any other ideas.

Wes
