not showing zeros on chart

here is the scenario

x-axis months 1-12 corresponding to jan-dec
y-axis dollars

how do you prohibit the series from taking a dive to zero for the
months that have no value assigned yet

activate chart
tools options chart
<plot empty cells as> choose your requirement.
