*not* play a sound when new mail arrives?

How can I make Outlook *not* play a sound when new mail arrives?

I've tried Tools > Options > Other > Advanced: uncheck 'Provide
feedback with sound' but that doesn't work.

I'm using MS Office Outlook 2003 11.5608.5606 on WinXP sp2

try tools > options > email options then the Advanced Email Options button.
There should be a Play a Sound check box.

Also go to Control Panel, Sounds, change sound scheme, scroll down to New
Mail Notification, set it to NONE and save.
