Not getting all the pictures on Internet explorer

When I open certain web pages I dont get all the pictures
(thumbnail size). I got into the properties for the pic
that didnt show up( only a small x showed up in the box)
the protocol:HyperText Transfer Protocol
type: Not available

the pic is a gif

How do I fix this?
 
Rick,

First, make sure if the "Show Pictures" option is turned on in Advanced tab
of Internet Options.

Change your brower encoding to "Auto-Select"
