Not automatically closing dummy browser from attachment

When you Open or Save an attachment in Outlook Web Access, it opens a "dummy" IE browser to accomplish the task. This "dummy" browser is not automatically closing once the attachment opens, but it used to automatically close. What setting(s) do I need to change to make this dummy browser automatically close?
