not appropriate license message

I have the administrator account but when I try to open up my resume writer program that worked fine 2 days ago I get the message"You do not have the appropriate license to use this functionality" Hunnh? What have I done and how can I undo it? Also I tried installing a different resume program from a CD and get the same messsage with it ! HELP.
