unable to browse a Windows XP computer with SP2 from any computer/account
other than the domain controller while using the Administrator account. If I
attempt to browse a computer with Windows XP SP2 using another computer other
than the domain controller, it results in the error below.

"\\computer is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you
have access permissions. The network path was not found."

Trying to browse using network neighborhood. Can see the computer but when
you click on it you get the error below. Tried solutions in Article id 840634

John,

You've got two variables here - account used for browsing, and computer used for
browsing. Did you try Admin vs non-Admin account on the client computers?

You may need to read about the NT browser, which is the source of content in
Network Neighborhood. The ability to browse is not magical, and involves a lot
of components in Windows. Don't get discouraged if these articles don't provide
an immediate solution. Work with me.

Next, you have to find out if the browsing problem, that you described, is
caused by a segmented browse domain (see above), or by lack of permissions to
access any computer. If you're not using an Admin account, does the account
that you're using have the right permissions?

Chuck,

Still having the problem the accounts are local admins that we are logging
in with.

John,

Well, there are numerous possible causes for "The network path was not found"
aka "Error = 53".

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall. There are other possibilities too. Read this
article with an open mind.

If no help yet, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from 2 client
computers, and from the domain controller, so we can diagnose the problem. Read
this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely:
