Not able to access windows 2k system from windows nt workstation

Both windows NT & 2000 are in same domain but windows 2000
systems are not accessible from windows NT. But file and
print sharing, NETBEUI, IPX/SPX has been enabled in
windows 2000 system. We tried to ping the ip of Windows
2000 pc from windows NT, we are getting response; but when
we trying to access the system, it says the system does
not exist

Hi,

SPX/IPX is meant for Netware clients
If you can ping the IP address of Windows 200 server
however you cann access it .
Then please enable WINS on the windows 2000 server and provide the WINS
server ip address in the Windows NT machine

Since Windows NT is not able to resolve the machine name to IP address
