not able to access outlook 2007

I have never used outlook before on my current computer and want to start
now. When I click on the icon I get a message that says "The connection to
Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to
complete this action." When I click OK, I get another window asking for the
Microsoft Exchange Server and the mailbox. Obviously I don't have the answer
to these questions. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Control Panel->Mail Icon->Accounts. Remove the Exchange account - you
obviously are not using one as it is a corporate mail server.

Install your POP3 account using the settings your ISP provided.
