Norton SW 2003

Hello all

Can anyone help please with this problem ?

I have just installed Norton SW 2003 on my XP home machine, and after
updating , ran the system virus check. However it seems to go over and over
the same files as it does the check, all the time increasing the file count.

Yesterday it got up to 1.7 million files on the c drive after (about an
hour) before I stopped it.

Is this normal ? I don't think I've got 1.7 million files on the c: drive

Any thoughts appreciated.

no it's not normal. Suggest you delete those files and uninstall the
program.
