every time i try to activate intrusion detection it comes up check your
windows account for restrictions and wont change settings, anyone know why
 
I was just about to ask the same question. Having probs with this NIS thing.
Every time I click the mouse I get a firewall alert come up. Have been
given all sorts of advice, but nothing works. Either that or I do not have
the options mentioned. Went to turn of intrusion detection only to find it
was off anyway. Out of curiosity tried to turn it on for a moment only to be
presented with the message you mention. I hope someone can help on this site.
