Norton AntiVirus Scanner for Windows 95/NT. This scanner provides
complete detection and repair of more than 7100 viruses, including Word
Macro viruses and the Boza virus. Symantec also has a scan-only version
of Norton AntiVirus for DOS/Windows 3.x online that will detect and
repair boot sector viruses, including Michelangelo.

I'm confused -- OP please clarify:
What does "discontinued freeware" mean?
The site appears to be offering this product for download.

I assume it means the product used to be commercial, then it was
discontinued and released as freeware.

Notice that it's for ancient OS's only! And it only detects 7500
viruses, which leaves some 70-80,000 unaccounted for!
