Norton Antispam and Outlook problem

I just installed Office 2003 and Norton Internet Security 2004, which
includes Norton Antispam 2004. From time to time, when I open Outlook, I
get a Runtime Error, and Outlook shutdown, then, When I open Outlook again,
I get an error with Outlook and the Norton Antispam Bar Plugin, and asks me
to disable the Antispam Bar. I answer NO to it. If I answer yes, the
Norton Antispam bar never shows up again, and I have to restore Office
Settings to bring it back.

Anyone having a similar problem? I have searched Symantec and Microsoft
Knowledge data bases but I found nothing....

I'm not aware of that specific problem, but I do know there are issues with
other Norton programs. Is it really more effective than OL2003's spam filter
set on high?

to restore disabled addins, look on the Help menu.

Diane,

Thank you for pointing me over to the "addins". The error referred to the
word "plugin" and I couldn't find anything regarding "plugin". I did find
the information under "addins" thanks to you.

I don't know if Norton Antispam is better than OL 2004 or not, but NAS works
very nice, and continues "learning".... If it weren't for the occasional
Runtime error, I would recommend it....
