Northwind doesnt work out stock according to orders, how do you do

I have noticed on the northwind database that it has stock levels in its
product table. But if i wanted the database to deduct items that are sold in
an order from the stock level how would i do this?

You're right. It doesn't do it because there is usually quite a bit involved
in managing stock.
