I guess I should have been more specific. I use styles a lot and I cannot
see the style names in my document that used to be able to see in "Normal
View."
Where were you seeing those styles? If you're referring to the Style width
area, choose Office button, Word Options, Advanced tab, Display section, and
set the Style area pane width setting to something above 0.
If you mean the Style tool on the Formatting toolbar, see the following
article for a way to get a view that is more familiar, albeit not identical,
to what you had in Word 2003 (and earlier):
