Normal view of page is **not** showing the full page

i can see the whole page in html tab, but when i switch to
normal its only showing the top couple things. whats the
deal? most of the HTML thats not showing up is in grey in
the html area.

Are you using FP2003? If so, it's possible you have the
Design view page size set too narrow to display the
entire width of your page.

To see if this is the problem, Choose Page Size from the
View menu, and then choose *** x *** Current Page Size,
where the asterisks indicate digits that will vary
depending on the current FrontPage Window size.

Sounds like a HTML comment has been opened but not closed.
Look for the opening <!-- without a closing --> at the top of the grey
area in HTML view. This may be inside <style> </style> or
<script>...</script> tags.

Definitely. If the HTML is greyed out then something isn't set right. Could check a webbot that might have gotten edited manually, some commenting, some scripting, etc... Start with where the grey area starts and look for something that doesn't look normal

Or copy and paste the HTMl here and we can look at it
