'normal' font size

M

Matthew Rutherford

Hi

I'm creating webs usually with a theme and associated style sheet. In the
selector box on the top left (FP2002) the default selection is 'normal'.
Trouble is, the 'normal' font is too big, so I have to select text, then
reset size which is a pain.
I know how to change (say) h1 -> h6 definitions. Question is, how can I
change the 'normal' font size/type?

Thanks,

Matthew Rutherford

"Normal" is not a setting, when Normal is set, then is not font tags written
to your pages. You either have to manually assign fonts to your text use the
font option or via CSS.

Ok, thanks for that. I guess a follow-up question is: At present normal
defaults to 3PT size; how can I make 'normal' default to a smaller size?

Or:

How can I make the selection box default to other than normal.

Thanks,

You would have to create you own CSS style and apply it to your text. The
normal/default, is the default of the user's browser's font setting, as
leaving the setting on normal, doesn't write any font info into your pages.
