AOL isn't on the add/remove list
When you locate the files and try and delete it says access denied

With Windows Messenger I found a link that automatically removed it

Any suggestions for the easies way to get rid of AOL and a few others

Thanks

If you get access denied it could due to:
you are not a system admin
files are in use.
One way to uninstall it is to download the latest version, install it and
then uninstall it. It will remove everything...
or
Make sure you have administrative rights and:
run the registry editor (regedit)
go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
Expand the uninstall key
look for the AOL entry, and on the right pane look for the uninstall string.
You can click twice on it, copy and paste it into the run menu.
If it runs successfully then there you go. If not, try the first way. If
neither one works, come back here and tell me.
