non-reoccurring items disappear

Hi,

I am trying to move a user from outlook 2003 local to exchange 2003

When I import his calendar from the local pst everything shows up perfectly. However after about 30 sec all non reoccurring items disappear from the calendar. Does anyone know why this would happen? Or more importantly how to fix it.
