I need help creating a non-integrated dns zone. My company has started a
seperate website, and they just installed a couple of subversion servers
that I need to put in a seperate DNS zone and exclude from dhcp. I have
never created a non-integrated zone before.

Basically I am going to need need a non-integrated zone on my dns server for
the zone tastest.com and the two ip's assigned to the servers are going to
need to be excluded from the dhcp pool.

Any help on how to do this is mucho appreciated. Thanks

For public web sites (etc) you really should leave the DNS at the REGISTRAR
rather than run it yourself.

But for Microsoft DNS just open the console, right click on the "Forward
Zones,
and choose New Zone -- follow the wizard.

Primary zone etc.

Do the exclusion in DHCP console.
