Non Commercial Use help.

Hey there. I have a new vista and Microsoft Office 2007 Student (i
believe - the top says non-commerical use) and every document I
create has the file that ends in .docX and when I email it to someone
with regular word they are unable to open it.

Can someone help me with this problem?

Thanks.

It isn't a problem. Word 2007 uses a different file format and its document
extensions are dotx or dotm (the latter indicting it has attached macros).

The simplest solution is for the end user to go to Microsoft Office Support
and install the Office 2007 filters for legacy versions to allow them to
open and edit the new format.

To add to Terry's reply, the 'non-commercial use' title bar is normal for Office 2007 Home & Student and Military Appreciation
editions. It's part of the license agreement terms that those special priced editions shouldn't be used for any commercial or
business purpose.
