Whenever I am on my computer the speakers have a pinging noise every 30 seconds
You're not in a submarine, are you?
Ha, just kidding. I don't have a clue about the problem, unless
it's a bad cable or cable plug that's working back and forth. But
that would give you a pop or a muffled roar, not a ping. There's
always that old standby, a virus. Wouldn't hurt to run a virus
scan or two. Might be some sort of joke program, also.
