NOD32 not updating to 20060120

Hi everyone, i am using NOD32 v2.50.16 and it seems as though it is not
updating to the latest virus database 20060120. Every hour or so it tells me
its updated the database, but the version number remains at 20060119. I have
tried to update manually and the same occurs.

Any help most appreciated.

this isn't very helpful, but mine has updated to xxxx20. So
it is working....at least for some of us.

check your log and perhaps you'll get some info. I always
have entries in the logs about how it can't reach the server
but then it reaches it a bit later..

Mine is updating fine as well...

NOD32 antivirus system information
Virus signature database version: 1.1373 (20060120)

Logs as mentioned before, may hold some vital information.

As others report, mine updated OK also. However, a glance at the
event log shows a much higher rate of connect failures since 1/20 than
previously.

I had the same problem with the update 1.1375 ( 20060123 ) so I went to
"Setup_Location Server" , chose "Choose automatically" and I could
download it no more problem

I'm showing 1.1377 (20060124) which updated just immediately before I wrote
this.... I have the server set to <choose automatically> so maybe that's the
best setting to avoid server failures??

Same here, I think there were 3 updates yesterday, mine is set to
automatic. I have never had a problem with NOD32.

I have always had that setting and I do always get the
updates. But I also do get connection to server failures as
well.

I contacted tech support about this quite a while ago and
they said yeh, well, sometimes, mine too, etc. But the
bottom line was not to worry as long as you're getting the
updates even if it takes a few tries - and I do always get
the updates.
