Does anyone know why some pages on a website located on a windows 2000
server would prompt for a password and other pages, even in the same
directory, do not?

I've posted this before last week and noone has offered any insight.

Please let me know, I have a company website where one page, with a lot of
internal links, won't show without first displaying the "Enter Network
Password" box. This has never happened before and when you click "cancel"
the box disappears and the page displays. But I don't want that box to
appear at all .

Ideas??

Uhm ... something on the page is attempting to access a password protected
network resource?
