No word wrap?

P

Paul Schauble

Using Excel 2000 SP3, I want to enter several lines of text into a cell
and have them wrap to fill the cell width. The cell is formatted Text,
Alignment Left indent 0, Word Wrap checked and the row height is set to
Auto. But the text just displays as one row of #################.

This is happening to many such cells on this worksheet. Some behave
properly, most don't.

Any idea what the problem could be?

Thanks,
++PLS

Could be one of those "bugs". Try copying a format from
a "good cell".
Also, a sure cure is to use ALT-ENTER to force a text
wrap. This is the same as hitting a carriage return in
Word. Then, set the alignment as needed.
