no video playback

why does'nt my computer play video's, e.g holiday video on tour operater web
sites.
I would be thankful for any help on this matter,don't get too technical on
me! many thanks.
 
Do you know what kind of videos these are? If they are flash or shockwave,
you need the Adobe Shockwave and/or Flash Players, if they are MOV files,
you'd need Quicktime and if they are RM, you'd need Real Player.
