'no time' appointment switches to a timed appointment

I have outlook 2007 and when I put in recurring appointments with 'no time'
on them, they will revert to a timed appointment spanning 2 days right out of
the blue.
Most annoying to say the least.
This includes 'holidays'!
Any ideas on how to prevent this happening?

24 hr events spanning 2 days hae a problem with the time zone. Are you syncing with a PDA device?
