no text in print preview

made a word doc and in print preview its blank? when I print I get blank
page? Dave.
 
If you're using text boxes (though I don't know why you would be), make sure
you have "Drawing objects" checked on the Print tab of Tools | Options.
Otherwise make sure that the text is not formatted as Hidden.

I can think of two possibilities:

(1) All the text is formatted as Hidden, and the Hidden box is unchecked in
Tools > Options > Print.

(2) All the text is in textboxes, and the Drawing Objects box is unchecked
in Tools > Options > Print.

If it isn't either of those, you may have something set wrong in the File >
Print > Properties dialog, or you may have a damaged printer driver.
