no sound on recorded movie VCD

I am using Windows XP Pro. I have a Pentium 4 2.8GB
processor with a supported motherboard, a good graphics
video card, plenty of hard drive space, Dazzle 80 video
device to PC transfering hardware, 512MB DDR memory, and
a DVD-RW drive. The purpose of this is to transfer 16mm
movies from a film chain projector to VCD and DVD.I gave
up on the software that came with the Dazzle because the
company is now Pinnacle Systems, and the software is no
longer supported. I was able to capture and burn a VCD,
the audio portion of the movie which played within the
playback mode of the program, did not play on the VCD.
When I switched to Windows Movie Maker, I was able to
import the movie, and play it with sound, but when I
burned the VCD in Nero Express, there was no sound on the
disk. I must be doing something wrong, or not
understanding something in the instructions. All the
programs can't be wrong.
Can someone help me please?
Thank you.
