No sound from internet browser and Flash MX

The sound works fine on my computer for CD's and MP3's but
I have no sound from websites or Flash MX files ?
 
Check your Internet Options settings.
From IE select the Tools\Internet Options menu.
Choose the Advanced tab. There you will find the settings for sound under
the Multimedia heading.
