No Sound Device Detected

I was able to use my Media Player. Now I get no sound
from anything. When trying to trouble shoot it I get
mesage No sound device. Please help if you can.

Sounds like your sound card is broken, no? Have you tried:
reinstalling the sound card driver?
checking with the vendor or Windows Update for a newer sound card driver?
