I recently installed the one-year trial version of Windows
XP 64 bit. The installtion went well and it actually
recognized my video card. But, it did not recognized my
Sound Blaster Audidy 2 sound card. So I think no big
deal, I'll just install it manually in the device manager.
When I do that the message comes up that, "Device cannot
be installed on this platform". What the heck is that?????

More than likely the Creative folks have not written drivers for the 64-bit
version of Windows. You'll have to ask them - not us.

This is correct. Since the product is not fully finished, many
manufacturers have not pushed to release compatible drivers. You will
need to contact Creative in order to get a 64bit driver for your sound
card. The 64bit computing is a new step in the computer world that will
take some time to adjust to. Developing drivers and software for the
64bit platform will take a little longer :)
