No Security Tab

Hello all,

I am new to Office 2000 and started using excel recently.

I am trying to password protect my xls files, so they only open with
password. The instructions i am following on 'this site
(http://www.uwo.ca/its/doc/hdi/email/word-excel-protect.html) are quit
simple, but for some reason i don't have a 'security tab' under th
tools -> options menu.

Am i overlooking something very simple...?

Any help is appreciated
