No Restore From Standby

Hi. Just built a new PC, 4800+ x2, ASUS MoBo A8V Sli SE, 2x1Gb Corsair XMS,
Win XP Pro Sp2, GeForce 7900GT. Everything works fine (and well), but when
I go into Standby, all seems well, flashing light to tell me PC is in
Standby but when I hit the space bar to come out of standby (set in BIOS)
the PC powers up but does not hit POST or activate the Monitor. I have to
power down and then re-start the PC. Hibernate works fine, only issue is
standby. In BIOS both S1 and S3 are selected, checked RAM voltage 2.6v.

Anyone any ideas. I think it may be a hardware conflict, tried a fresh
install of the OS - same issue.
