No records returned

Hi
FP 2000
How to get rid of the message "No records returned" in a dbresult without
any hits. I don´t want anything to be written when the dbresult is empty.

You can go back into the wizard and delete the message, but I believe you
will still get some remnants from the search (an empty table, for example).
How do you plan on letting them know that their search produced no results?

If you are refering to a message when the user has not yet filled in the
search form (on the same page as the DRW), simply place the search form on a
different page and post it to the DRW page.

Records (or lack of) will only be shown when a user requests something.

Kathleen, thanks for your answer.
If I delete the message it just rewright itself again, but I figure out that
if I present the result with
"list-one field per item" and "place horizontal separator between records"
and then delete the separatorline, the message isn´t shown, but it is still
there in the code.?:?!!?? magic

This isn´t a searchfield for visitors it´s a newsarea that vill show the
content in some dbfields if todaysdate is between publishdate and end of
publishdate and the publishstate is yes. Thats the reason why I don´t want
the message No records found. If there are no news the area just should be
empty.

Thanks grw
The way I use this dbresult demands that I have the result on the page that
is shown, read my answer to Kathleen.
