Hello,
When downloading a ftp file, I get the following error:
"This file does not have a program associated with it for
performing this action. Create an association in the
Folder Options Control panel".
This occurs when trying to access a
ftp://ftpsite.com/filename.exe
When I access an ftp site using ftp://ftpsite.com, the IE
pulls up the explorer window and I'm able to copy file
from the window to a folder.
I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the URL:File
Transfer Protocol File Type, but when I set this to match
a friend's machine (also running IE6sp1), the browser
begins chewing CPU, but no file folder window pops up.
I've uninstalled/reinstalled ie6 but to no avail. I'm
running W2000 Pro.
I'm using the following settings:
Use DDE
DDE Message: "%1",,1,0,,,,
Application: IExplore
DDE Application Not Running: *
