no POST on power up

I have a generic system that will not boot up and go through POST... how
do I force the computer to boot up .... it was working one day and the
next nada no response

We'll need more details.
System specs. How old/new? Did you add or change hardware? Overclock?
Etc....

For basic diagnosis, remove all cards but video, leave 1 ram stck, and the
CPU.
Did it boot? Report back here.
