No PM, only AM, on System Clock

When setting my system clock, I can't set it to PM. The pull-down menu
offers only AM.

This problem predates the DST debacle.

Any idea what's happening and the fix?

Thanks -- Vincent

If your clock is setup for 24-hour format, there will NOT be an AM/PM
indicator on the Date & Time tab of Date and Time Properties.

* To change the AM/PM indicator, select it and then click the arrows.

Double click the clock on the taskbar to open Date and Time Properties.

On the Date & Time tab, select the item you want to change.

* To change the hour, double-click the hour and then click the arrows to
increase or decrease the value.

* To change the minutes, double-click the minutes and then click the arrows
to increase or decrease the value.

* To change the seconds, double-click the seconds and then click the arrows
to increase or decrease the value.

* To change the AM/PM indicator, select it and then click the arrows.

See this if you are on 24-hour format...

Yep, that was it! S2359 = AM as well as S1159.

I wonder how such a thing could happen.

To get automatic update to work, I had to use a server other than the ones
Windows XP provided. I wonder why Microsoft would offer their brand,
time.microsoft.com, on a service which doesn't work?

Thanks again -- Vincent

Sure enough, S2359 was set to AM as well as S1159. Thanks so much. I wonder
how such a thing could happen.
